Pune: Pune City Police Constable Dattatray Telange (50) died of a reported heart attack in the early hours of Friday after suddenly feeling dizzy while speaking with members of a local Ganpati mandal.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 am. According to the information provided, Telange complained of dizziness while interacting with mandal members, who immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital. However, doctors declared him dead before treatment could begin.
Served at Wanowrie Police Station and Commissioner’s Office
A resident of Hadapsar, Telange was initially posted at Wanowrie Police Station before being deputed to the Pune Police Commissioner’s Office.
During his service in the Confidential Department, he handled several sensitive assignments. Colleagues remembered him for his dedication, professionalism and ability to carry out important responsibilities.
Sudden Death Leaves Police Department in Mourning
Telange had completed his duty on Thursday night and returned home. His sudden death a few hours later has left his family and colleagues grieving.
Officers and personnel from Pune City Police paid tribute to Telange, remembering him as a hardworking and dependable colleague.
