A 23-year-old Baramati woman died under suspicious circumstances, leading police to register a case against Atharva Rajendra Mehan following a complaint from her mother. The family has alleged that the woman had expressed concerns about being given tablets before an intended physical relationship. Police are investigating the allegations, medical findings and circumstances surrounding her death.
